CEDIA EXPO 2008
& the Democratic National Convention

As you know, the Democratic National Convention will be held August 25-28. This overlaps with CEDIA EXPO on select target move-in dates. CEDIA has been coordinating very closely with the Colorado Convention Center and Democratic National Convention staff regarding CEDIA EXPO and exhibitor move in. The DNC will have little or no impact on you.

The Democratic National Convention will mostly be held at the Pepsi Center and will have limited use of the Colorado Convention Center. Any meetings the DNC will hold at the convention center will be on the Street/Meeting Room Level. They will not be utilizing the exhibit hall so this will not impact your setup.

If you have a target move-in date prior to August 30, the DNC is aware and okay with CEDIA moving you in during this time. The only change is where you can enter the convention center. A designated entrance into the facility has been arranged to the left and around the corner from 14th Street main entrance (to left of Blue Bear). This designated side entrance is referred to as the "South Shuttle Drop" location. Signage will assist in directing you to the correct entrance.

Everyone involved with CEDIA EXPO is working very closely with the Colorado Convention Center so that the DNC has little or no impact on exhibitors. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Roth at jroth@cedia.org.
