CEDIA Outreach Instructors

What is the CEDIA Outreach Instructor Program?

CEDIA Outreach Instructors (COIs) are CEDIA members who have attended and passed the "Train the Trainer" course. Successful completion of this requirement enables participants to deliver CEDIA-developed industry partner education.

The CEDIA Outreach Instructor program gives CEDIA members the tools they need to deliver quality presentations and enables them to present relevant and timely education to industry partners within their geographic regions. Since the program's inception in 2006, it has grown to include hundreds of COIs throughout the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. CEDIA's COI program is referred to CPD in the EMEA region.

In order to maintain this CEDIA designation, COIs are required to follow strict guidelines that include meeting deadlines for registering upcoming classes, reporting participant attendance, and maintaining minimum evaluation ratings.

A complete list of education available through the CEDIA Outreach Instructor program may be found here.

"In a down market we have searched for a way to differentiate ourselves from our competition. The one thing that has allowed us to rise above the crowd has been our knowledge of cutting-edge home technology. Thank you CEDIA for giving us that edge!"
